WCB Bulletin Outlines Reforms Included in Budget Bill

The New York State Workers’ Compensation Board says it will start taking public comments on new permanent impairment guidelines by Sept. 1 and adopt at least interim regulations by Jan. 1, in response to budget legislation that includes a laundry list of workers’ comp reforms.  The board summarized each of the statutory changes in a bulletin posted online Tuesday.
