Risk Specialist to Head Captive Insurance Regulatory Unit

Janet Grace, a risk specialist with more than 20 years of experience, is now overseeing the Connecticut Insurance Department’s Captive Insurance Regulatory Unit. Insurance Commissioner Katharine Wade announced the appointment on Wednesday. A former consultant for Towers Watson, Grace has worked extensively in risk identification and coverage analysis, business process redesign, risk financing, strategic business planning, underwriting and reinsurance.
