A New York appellate court upheld an award of benefits to a worker for his unwitnessed fall down a flight of stairs. Case: Matter of Ellis v. Frito Lay, No. 520961, 04/28/2016, published. Facts: Gavin Ellis was working by himself, unloading a trailer, when he fell down some stairs and allegedly injured his back and neck.
