Assembly Bill 2086 is headed to Gov. Jerry Brown’s desk. But we’ve been here before. Last year it was AB 1542. I’m talking about legislation to restore neuropsychology as a qualified medical evaluator specialty. The issue is of some importance because more research is coming to light that highlights the importance of neuropsychology issues in head trauma cases, particularly those involving athletes.
