Appalachian Underwriters Adds Peter Stavrakos to Brokerage Division

Appalachian Underwriters Inc. has hired Peter Stavrakos to join the company’s brokerage office in Sarasota, Florida. Stavrakos will be part of the professional liability team and will focus on various-sized accounts. Stavrakos graduated from Florida State University in May with a bachelor’s degree in risk management and insurance. He was a risk and insurance services intern last year at BayCare Health System in Clearwater, where he gained experience in claims, reporting and data analysis.
