OAKLAND, Calif. – California regulators when implementing a formulary should consider some kind of phase-in period to allow providers and carriers an opportunity to identify the best way to proceed with treatment for workers taking medications not included on the list of approved drugs, said people who testified at a public hearing in Oakland on Wednesday.
