Fee Schedule Rules' Effective Date Deemed to Be June 1

Nine months after adoption of a new ambulatory surgery center fee schedule, the Industrial Commission has learned when the new rules will become effective. The commission this week posted a notice that the amended Rule 04 of the North Carolina Administrative Code 10J.0103 became effective on June 1, which is 31 days after the General Assembly convened for this year’s session.
