Advisory Council Meets Wednesday

The Massachusetts Workers' Compensation Advisory Council will meet Wednesday to discuss the state of the system, vital statistics, impartial medical exams and other items.

Linda Turner, executive director of the Department of Industrial Accidents, will discuss the department's 2018 annual report and open-meetings law. Director of Administration Bill Taupier will cover vital statistics, including the number of cases filed, the Workers' Compensation Trust Fund, and compliance, according to an agenda for the meeting.

The meeting will be held at the department's Conference Room No. 10-140, on the 10th Floor, at 1 Congress St., in Boston.
