L.A. City Attorney Sues Port Trucking Companies for Misclassification

Los Angeles City Attorney Mike Feurer on Monday filed three lawsuits accusing short-haul trucking companies of intentionally misclassifying drivers at the Port of Los Angeles to cut costs by, among other things, not providing workers’ compensation coverage.
