DWC Revises Form to Allow Advanced Nurses to Sign Off on Work Status

The Texas Division of Workers' Compensation has revised its work-status form so that advanced-practice nurses may complete the information for injured workers. The revision of Form 073 was needed because House Bill 387, signed into law this year, allows nurse practitioners, under the supervision of doctors, to sign off on the work status of injured employees.
