Supreme Court Denies Review to 2 Comp Cases

The California Supreme Court denied review to two workers' compensation cases on Wednesday, including an apportionment dispute. The state Supreme Court denied review to SCIF v. WCAB (Dorsett) and CIGA v. WCAB (Paz) during this week's conference. In SCIF v. WCAB (Dorsett), an applicant had asked the high court to review a Nov. 10 decision from the 6th District Court of Appeal that a workers' compensation judge should have apportioned an injured worker's award, pursuant to Benson v.
