Alleged Lead, Fall Hazards Prompt Fines to 5 Racetrack Contractors

The Occupational Safety and Health Administration has issued five contractors a total 19 alleged serious citations, with fines totaling $127,400, for alleged violations of workplace health and safety standards at the former Aqueduct Racetrack in Queens, N.Y., which is being converted into a casino.
