The Washington Department of Labor and Industries will hold a public hearing Aug. 22 on a rule that would clarify when workers can access funds to complete a self-directed vocational retraining plan.
After a worker's vocational retraining plan is approved by the department, the worker can elect to receive "Option 2 benefits," or funds that go toward fulfilling the training plan.
