6th Circuit Upholds Jury's Verdict for Injured Worker on ADA Claim

A federal appellate court upheld a jury verdict in favor of a worker on his claim that his employer had discriminated against him because of his disability from an industrial injury. Case: Gunter v. Bemis Co., Nos. 17-6144 and 17-6185, 10/16/2018, published. Facts: Tony Gunter worked for the Bemis Co. He injured his shoulder at work in January 2013.
