Regulators Lower Health Safety Net Assessment

The Health Safety Net Fund uniform assessment for hospital outpatient workers’ compensation charges has been lowered from 0.80%, to 0.73%, effective Oct. 1. The revised percentage may be added to acute hospital charges in accordance with 114.1 CMR 41.04(1)(d), the Executive Office of Health and Human Services said in Administrative Bulletin 17-17.
