The Oklahoma Court of Civil Appeals this week ruled that an injured worker has one year following his last receipt of voluntarily paid medical compensation to file a formal claim for additional care.
Section 69(B)(1) of the Administrative Workers’ Compensation Act provides that a claim for additional compensation cannot be filed more than one year from the date of the last payment of disability compensation, or two years from the date of injury, whichever is greater.
