Claim Processing Cost Factor Increasing to 19.72%

The Oregon Workers’ Compensation Division announced that the factor used to calculate reimbursement for carriers and self-insured employers that paid supplemental disability benefits to a preferred worker will increase next year. The claims processing administrative cost factor will increase to 19.72% in 2017 from 18.81%, the division said.
