Maximum Weekly Total Disability Benefit Increases 5.8%

The Rhode Island Department of Labor and Training’s Division of Workers’ Compensation has set the new maximum total disability weekly compensation rate for fiscal 2018. The rate is $1,221 for injuries occurring on or after Oct. 1, 2017, Assistant Director Matthew P. Carey III said in an informational letter to stakeholders.
