Worker Can't Get Out of Settlement That Waived Future Right to Recover for 'Unknown Injuries'

The Colorado Court of Appeals ruled that a worker cannot reopen a claim based on a mutual mistake of fact if he discovers an injury that was unknown at the time of the settlement when the settlement agreement clearly stated that he waived his right to compensation for any injuries that were unknown.
