Attorneys Appeal Use of AMA Guides' 6th Edition to State Supreme Court

Two Oklahoma attorneys have petitioned the state's high court to challenge the state's use of the sixth edition of the American Medical Association Guides to the Evaluation of Permanent Impairment to assign disability ratings. Attorneys Bob Burke and Mike Green appealed to the Oklahoma Supreme Court on Monday a Workers' Compensation Commission decision upholding the use of the guides.
