Roofer Pleads to Fraud, Owes $54,000 in Premiums and Penalties

The owner of a Sandusky, Ohio roofing company has pleaded guilty to fraud for failing to maintain workers’ compensation insurance coverage. Steve Petrick Jr., owner/operator of Steve Petrick Roofing, came to the attention of BWC’s Special Investigations Department after an anonymous tipster alleged he was operating his business without the required coverage.
