Allowing employees to use nail guns without eye protection and work on roofs without guarding against falls has led to $140,000 in proposed federal fines against a Florida roofing contractor.
Jasper Contractors Inc. of Fort Lauderdale was cited for the alleged safety violations on March 28 by the Occupational Safety and Health Administration. The business has 15 days to contest the citations.
