Insulation Maker Cited for Fire Hazards, Silica Dust

An insulation manufacturer in Pennsylvania has been hit with a number of safety violations including exposing workers to silica dust, and fire and explosion hazards, according to the U.S. Occupational Safety and Health Administration. In response to a complaint of safety violations, OSHA inspected US GreenFiber LLC’s plant in Wilkes-Barre in October 2015.
