Pharmacy benefit managers that do business in Oregon will have to pay higher fees to the state and comply with an appeals process to resolve reimbursement disputes under rules proposed by the state Department of Financial Services.
The department said the Oregon Legislature in 2016 directed it to convene a public workgroup to recommend improvements to the PBM regulatory framework, and the proposed rules are a product of the effort.
