An advisory group convened to identify ways to improve Hawaii’s workers’ compensation system is considering the possibility of tying reimbursement for vocational rehabilitation to how quickly injured workers are back on the job. A PowerPoint presentation posted to the Department of Labor and Industrial Relations website in advance of today's working group meeting shows how the idea could work.
