Alliant Insurance Services, a Newport Beach-based company that calls itself the nation’s largest specialty insurance brokerage firm, announced Wednesday that it has acquired Almond Valley Insurance Services, Inc., a regional employee benefits firm based in Chico, Calif. Terms of the transaction were not disclosed.Headed by company founder and President Steven G.
