Pharmacy to Pay Feds $60K to Settle Controlled Substance Allegations

A Maine pharmacy has agreed to pay the federal government $60,000 to resolve allegations that employees falsified records and diverted controlled substances, the U.S. Attorney's Office for the District of Maine announced last week.  Orono Pharmacy and its owner, Ali Aghamoosa, admitted no wrongdoing by entering into the civil settlement.
