ICW Receives Ratings Upgrade From A.M. Best

A.M. Best has upgraded the financial strength rating to A, or excellent, from a previous rating of A-minus, for Insurance Company of the West. The rating change also applies to the company’s subsidiaries, Explorer Insurance Co. and VerTerra Insurance Co. The companies, headquartered in San Diego, are collectively referred to as ICW. A.M.
