Governor Names Two New Commissioners to IWCC

Illinois Gov. Bruce Rauner has appointed two new commissioners to the state Workers’ Compensation Commission, according to letters his office filed Friday with the secretary of state. Defense attorney Elizabeth Coppoletti will replace Mario Basurto, and Arbitrator Deborah Simpson will replace Commissioner Ruth White. The letters do not say whether Basurto and White retired or were terminated.
