Liberty Mutual Reports Net Income of $265 Million in Third Quarter

Liberty Mutual Group on Tuesday reported net income of $265 million for the third quarter, compared to just $6 million during the third quarter of 2008.“We and the industry benefited in the quarter from improved asset values and favorable weather," said Chairman, President and Chief Executive Officer Edmund F. Kelly.
