The Colorado Division of Workers’ Compensation adopted rules maintaining premium surcharge rates at the same level as was charged in the previous fiscal year.
A notice in the July 10 Colorado Register says the DWC adopted surcharges for the fiscal year starting July 1 that are unchanged from those charged in the fiscal year starting July 1, 2015.
The cash fund premium surcharge that pays for the cost of administering the state’s Workers’ Compensation Act is 0.5% for fiscal year 2016.
