Lufkin Office Sets Program Nov. 20 on ADA, Health Care Providers

The Lufkin field office of the Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation will host a free program Nov. 20 on “Title II: Americans with Disabilities Act” and “Comp Connection for Health Care Providers.”The session is set for 11:30 a.m. to 1 p.m. in suite 100 at the field office at 310 Harmony Hill Drive.Following a presentation discussing compliance with the Americans with Disabilities Act and the agency’s telephone help line for health care providers, the session will become an open forum in which participants may ask questions.The division reports the program...
