DWC Announces 9 Disciplinary Actions, $303,500 in Fines

The Texas Division of Workers’ Compensation announced nine disciplinary orders by Workers’ Compensation Commissioner Rod Bordelon became final in October.The orders included two doctors, six insurance companies and a radiology clinic.  Total fines under the orders were $303,500.  The commissioner’s orders are subject to appeal to state district court within 30 days after being issued.The orders for October, including alleged violations and actions taken are (in alphabetical order):Arch Insurance Co., Jersey City, N.J., Order No. DWC10-0092, failed to properly file n...
