Maine Gov. Paul LePage has appointed Portland workers' compensation defense attorney Madeline Malisa as his deputy counsel and senior policy adviser on labor issues. Madeline Malisa Malisa replaces former LePage adviser John Butera, who was approved in June to become the state's next labor commissioner.
