The Insurance Council of Texas Friday asked the Division of Workers' Compensation to schedule a public hearing to receive testimony on the new proposed medical dispute-resolution rules.
The council also asked that stakeholders be allowed to submit written comment the proposed rules (Rules 133.305, 133.307 and 133.308) until 5 p.m. on the day the public hearing is held.
Council workers' compensation manager Steve Nichols said the council had been asked by its member companies to request the public hearing.
