The Commission on Health and Safety and Workers’ Compensation posted to its website for comment a study of workers’ compensation programs for public self-insured employers mandated by Senate Bill 863.
The study, conducted by Bickmore, found evidence of a disparity between issues affecting public self-insureds in the Northern and Southern part of the state, similar to what has been reported for private employers.
