As expected, the Minnesota House of Representatives voted 127-0 to pass a bill that increases the salaries of workers’ compensation judges by about $7,000 and allows retired administrative law judges to hear cases in the Workers’ Compensation Court of Appeals.
The House approved House File 3873 on Tuesday, moving the bill to the Senate. Reps. Tony Albright, R-Prior Lake, and Tim Mahoney, D-St. Paul, introduced the measure. The measure was recommended by the state’s Workers’ Compensation Advisory Council.
