The Arkansas Court of Appeals ruled that a paramedic failed to establish either of her two claims for benefits for alleged back injuries. Case: Halliday v. North Arkansas Regional Medical Center, No. CV-15-973, 09/14/2016, published. Facts: Shelby Halliday worked as a paramedic for the North Arkansas Regional Medical Center. She filed a workers' compensation claim, asserting she had injured her back in a fall while at work in December 2012.
