Bill to Give Colorado Uninsured Employer Fund Passes House

Legislation to create an uninsured employer fund in Colorado will head to the Senate after passing the House on Monday. Sponsored by three lawmakers who own small businesses, HB17-1119 creates a fund to pay the workers' compensation claim costs of those whose employers do not carry coverage.
