Oregon Attorney Fee Report Delayed

A report from the Oregon Workers’ Compensation Board’s Advisory Committee on a possible increase in attorney fees, which was due this month, may not be ready until this summer.Even though a meeting has been scheduled for Friday in Salem, WCB Executive Assistant Karen Burton said there are no new proposals as yet from an advisory committee that the board formed to study a proposed fee increase after management and labor representatives voiced objections on Dec. 6.
