N.C. Bar Association Appoints Whitfield to Vice Chair Position

The North Carolina Bar Association has appointed Jeri L. Whitfield to the position of vice chair on the Board of Legal Specialization. Whitfield, a board-certified specialist in workers' compensation law, is also currently serving a three-year term on the association's board of directors, the Raleigh Telegram reported. Her term begins on Aug. 1. Whitfield has previously served on a committee that established initial standards for workers' compensation specialization.
