A chiropractor who billed for services that he didn't perform and a claimant who worked five jobs while collecting workers' comp benefits were among 17 Ohio residents who were convicted of workers' compensation fraud charges in February.
In a monthly recap of arrests and convictions posted online Wednesday, the Bureau of Workers' Compensation noted the Feb. 29 guilty plea on four misdemeanor fraud counts and one theft charge by chiropractor Mark Scanion, owner of Progressive Rehab Center in Butler County.
