The New York State Workers' Compensation Board has barred four doctors from treating injured workers, based on actions taken by the State Board of Professional Medical Conduct.The board said last week that it removed Dr. Michael Cesar of Williamsville, N.Y., from the list of board-authorized physicians on June 17. The order, issued by Board Chairman Zachary Weiss, declares that reports submitted by Cesar for treatment rendered prior to May 21 are considered valid but should not be considered invalid for any treatment on or after that date.
