Three chiropractors in Southern California pleaded not guilty to charges that they participated in what the Orange County District Attorney’s Office alleges is a wide-reaching cross-referral scheme.
The District Attorney’s Office filed felony complaints against four chiropractors and a marketer who allegedly conspired to order medical services from specified companies in exchange for referrals.
Chiropractor Bahar Gharib-Danesh pleaded not guilty on Friday and was released on a $400,000 bond. A pre-trial hearing was set for Feb. 1.
