Worker's Delay in Requesting Hearing Didn't Warrant Dismissal of Claim

The Oklahoma Workers’ Compensation Commission ruled that a worker’s timely filed claim was not subject to dismissal because of his delay in requesting a hearing. The case was Jackson v. BJs Restaurants Operations Co. Chad Jackson worked at a BJs Restaurant. He filed a workers’ compensation claim in June 2016 for an alleged on-the-job injury from February of that year.
