Senator Seeking Do-Over on Comp Bills After Election of Republican Gov.

A Missouri Senate committee on Tuesday will hear two workers’ compensation reform bills whose author thinks have a better chance of passage than in the past because of the election of a Republican governor. Sen. Dave Schatz, R-Sullivan, said Thursday that he introduced SB 113 in direct response to the 2014 state Supreme Court decision in Templemire v. W&M Welding.
