Fremont's Ratings Adjusted

Two more credit rating companies made announcements on Fremont General Corp. or its insurance subsidiaries. Duff & Phelps Credit Rating Co.  reaffirmed Fremont General Corp.'s "BBB" senior debt rating and assigned Fremont Compensation Insurance Group an "A" rating for its claims paying ability. It cited the company's good competitive position and capitalization, among other strengths.
