Industrial Commission to Discuss Judge Candidates, Goals

The Industrial Commission of Arizona will discuss candidates for an open administrative law judge position, as well as goals for 2019 during a meeting Thursday in Phoenix.
Commissioners are slated to discuss interview questions, second interviews and salary as part of their consideration of candidates for the ALJ position. The agenda for the meeting indicates the commission could go into executive session for part of the discussion.
The ICA will also discuss goals, objectives and key initiatives for the coming year at the meeting.
Other agenda items include reviewing requests for authorization to self-insure, and approving proposed civil penalties against uninsured employers.
The ICA meets at 1 p.m. at Thursday at 800 W. Washington St. in Phoenix.
