Senate Confirms Smith as Director of DCBS

The Oregon State Senate confirmed the appointment of Cameron Smith as director for the Department of Consumer and Business Services. Gov. Kate Brown appointed Smith as director of DCBS in December, and he took over the position at the start of February. Before coming to DCBS, he worked as director of the state Department of Veterans’ Affairs, as well as a senior policy adviser to former Govs. John Kitzhaber and Ted Kulongoski.
