Vermont's maximum weekly compensation rate for injuries sustained after June 30, 1986, will rise 1.75% at the end of the month, the Vermont Department of Labor announced.
The rate will increase from $1,259 to $1,281 for fiscal year 2018.
For injuries sustained before June 30, 1986, the rate will grow from $839 to $854, a 1.79% increase.
The minimum weekly compensation rate will rise from $420 to $427, a 1.67% increase.
Forms 28 and 28a have been updated accordingly. Employers or carriers must notify claimants of the rate changes by filling out these forms.
